The Debessa team took part in the State Level Gawai Parade (Niti Daun)

Kuching, June 22, 2018 -  The Debessa team took part in the State Level Gawai Parade (Niti Daun) on June 22, 2018. The Procession began in front of the Tun Jugah building in Kuching. The Niti Daun parade aims to promote the unity among the Dayaks and other races, preserve cultures and showcase the various ethnic groups and traditional costumes in Sarawak. 

The Gawai related event was followed by a dinner the following night on June 23, 2018, Majlis Makan Malam Sambutan Gawai Dayak 2018 Peringkat Negeri Sawawak  at the Penview Convention Centre, Demak Laut. The State level celebration dinner was attended by the Governor of the State of Sarawak and his wife, the Chief Minister of Sarawak as well as other officials.
